The second annual meeting of the EDCTP, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and NIH co-funded PredictTB project took place in the rural setting of the Robertson winelands in the Western Cape, South Africa, on 25 and 26 March 2019.
From February 11 to 12, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) hosted the kickoff meeting for the EUCANCan project (European-Canadian Cancer Network), jointly funded by the Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
The new year not only starts off with a number of new projects but also with a new colleague joining the team: Elena Lehner has earned a master’s degree in translation studies for German, English and Spanish with a specialization in medicine.
From 12 to 14 March 2018, MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM hosted the second annual meeting of the ScreenTB consortium in Banjul. After two successful years, the consortium met to jointly assess progress, discuss current challenges, and plan for the final year of the project.
