IMPRINT Network Meeting

On October 5-6, 2021, IMPRINT held its third and final network meeting. The virtual meeting looked back on the network's progress and impact since its inception in 2017 and offered IMPRINT members the opportunity to meet and exchange thoughts and knowledge relating to maternal immunisation.

IMPRINT is a network focusing on maternal and neonatal immunisation, funded by the UK's Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), coordinated by Network Director Prof Beate Kampmann (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), Co-Director Dr Chrissie Jones (University of Southampton), and managed by LINQ.

On October 5-6, 2021, IMPRINT held its third and final network meeting. The virtual meeting looked back on the network's progress and impact since its inception in 2017 and offered IMPRINT members the opportunity to meet and exchange thoughts and knowledge relating to maternal immunisation.

The IMPRINT network supports scientific activities such as pump-priming grants and public engagement projects. At the final meeting, fellows and project leads presented the results of their projects. The meeting also included presentations by other IMPRINT members on perspectives of COVID-19 and pregnancy.

Interactive sessions and panel discussions on the achievements of IMPRINT and the network's role in the global development of maternal immunisation offered insights into the network's contribution to the broader field of maternal and neonatal immunisation.

In collaboration with Tui Swinnen of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, LINQ is currently developing a new intranet for the IMPRINT network, designed to live on after the funding period ends in March 2022. The new IMPRINT intranet will include standard features of a traditional intranet and a comprehensive public engagement toolkit. The toolkit will consist of summaries of all ten public engagement projects, case studies, a resource library, and a list of key lessons derived from the projects. This toolkit aims at making the outputs produced and best practices and lessons learned easily accessible to everyone in the IMPRINT Network.
