To jump-start the new year, LINQ’s two projects EUCANCan and ESPACE teamed up to host a joint webinar on January 11, 2021. LINQ organized the webinar ‘New IT approaches in genome analysis,’ which was moderated by Christian Lawerenz of Steinbeis.
On January 1, 2021, the European Union launched its new Research and Innovation Framework Programme, Horizon Europe. The programme, which replaces Horizon 2020, has a budget of €95.5 billion and is set to run for seven years, from 2021 to 2027.
With the New Year just around the corner, we look back on the year gone by. The ongoing pandemic has made 2020 a challenging year for everyone, but for us at LINQ, it has also been a year with many positive events and memorable moments.
TriageTB consortium got together virtually for the Year 1 Meeting in mid-November. Despite intermittent lockdowns and ‘the new normal’ this year, the consortium has managed to stay productive.
On October 20, LINQ coordinated and took part in StatinTB’s Year 2 Progress Meeting, where the consortium discussed the project’s progress to date and made plans for the year ahead.
